Welcome Brayden and Gabriella!

Brayden Robert Eckert was born on 11/22/07 at 7:05PM
5lbs 6oz and 19 inches long

Brayden had some trouble breathing in the first minutes of his life, so he was rushed to the NICU and put on a ventilator. By the next morning, he was off of most monitoring and within 24 hrs, he joined his sister and parents in the post partum wing!

Gabriella Heather Eckert was born on 11/22/07 at 7:46PM

5lbs 10.6oz and 19.25 inches long

Despite efforts otherwise (she was obviously comfortable in her 8 month home), Gabriella was delivered 41 minutes after her brother. Diagnosed with jaundice 2 days after delivery, she had to spend a day in phototherapy. I think she enjoyed the "sunbathing". After one extra night in the hospital, the whole family was able to go home together!
